ACES
All Children Exercising Simultaneously
Aces is an event take takes place the first Wednesday in May. All over the United States children will participate in ACES at 10:00 a.m. for 15 minutes.
Wines children participate in ACES by walking a mile. They recieve an ACES sticker and a news letter which provides resources and tips to help families make a commitment to physical activity.
ACES was created by a physical education teacher Len Sanders in 1989 as a method of motivating children to exercise. ACES stood for American Children Exercising Simultaneously. ACES was such a huge success that in 1990 the name was changed to "All Children Exercising Simultaneously".
